Reader comment on item: What Antidote to Radical Islam?

Submitted by Glen (United States), Mar 4, 2015 at 03:41

In an effort to find a solution for Islamic extremism we still try and hold onto the real source of Islamic extremism - Islam. Mohammed had a solution to moderate Muslim in his day. They were dealt the same treatment as a kafir. ANY Muslim who does not feel Jihad is a duty does not believe Allah when he tells him so, therefore he is not a Muslim. Erase Islam, boldly expound its vile heritage and goal for the future of mankind and you are on your way to a more peaceful world. In trying to reform Islam, we must keep Islam. In order to erase the threat of Islam against the entire world. Moderate Muslims do not matter.

Only Mohammed and Allah matters to true Muslims and they will never abandon it so the threat survives. Islam, in any form, is the problem. It does not allow for equal treatment of non-Muslim members of the human race and it never will. The word of Mohammed and Allah to a true Muslims cannot be changed. Islam cannot be changed. True Muslims don't want reform but a call to a more strict Islam, more in line with its founder's vision.
