Are you kidding, Mr. Pipes?!
Reader comment on item: Pro-Israel Palestinians

Submitted by Roman (United States), May 11, 2005 at 15:44

Are you kidding, Mr. Pipes?! These people do not in the least approve of Israel, the only reason they say what they say is to stress their point, that PA is so corrupt that EVEN the cursed Jews are better in comparison. It's purely retorical.

"The time has come for decent Palestinians to make their voices heard"? They make their voices heard, when they dance in the streets after every suicide bombing.

It is scary to be so fiercely hated and it is tempting to try to convince ourselves that it's only the "Palestinian" leaders and small bands of fanatics that hate us. It's not. Arab people hate us. Yes, the whole people, and if they ever elect democratic governments, those governments will be even more hostile towards Jews.

Self-delusion is a sure way to a second Holocaust (God forbid)
