I am afraid ISIS is larger than an entirely mid-eastern Problem. A few weeks ago an ex-ISIS fighter made his way into the EU as a EU citizen finally landing in Frankfurt airport.

This is where the German authorities, fully aware of his background, an entirely Syrian problem, but waved him through to France - an entirely french problem.

The man re-emerged in Bruxell shooting four dead in a Jewish museum.

My recommendation is for the West to protect itself from ISIS and the many other problems emanating from the Middle East - but not to try to solve those problems.
