"oxymorn" ! You are deliberately obfuscating background noise with a trend. Hindu protests against M.F.Hussein are in no way comparable with the persistent Jihadist/Islamist tendency to shutdown caricature or criticism of Islam in any part of the world - including digital world.

Your "ultra-secular" M.F.Hussein was tongue tied when people like Rushdie or Taslima Nasreen face death threats. Hussein was an opportunist . Hussein has never protested when fellow artists or writers were subjected to attack.

As a leftist, you have to somehow let Islamists off the hook and turn a blind eye, whatever their crimes
