How will American Jews respond?

Reader comment on item: Romney's Remarkable Speech in Jerusalem

Submitted by Richard B. (Canada), Jul 30, 2012 at 11:33

Traditionally the Jewish vote has gone to the Democrats and in this case, President Obama. Yet it has been the Republican party that has been the most Israel-friendly with Romney being the latest to offer his support for the Jewish state (and to Jewry worldwide). Baffles me how the Jewish voter in America will once again cast their re-election vote for Obama, a man who seems downright hostile to Israel and Jewish interests. I too pray for the peace of Israel, the ultimate canary in the coal mine. When Israel is at peace the world will be at peace.

Good luck to Mr. Romney in November. He'll need it.
