Yes, the Philistines invaded the Canaan coast after the Jews went down to Egypt. However, not mentioning the Jews were born and incepted in Canaan as the land of their birth, before the Philistines invaded, implies that this land was Palestinian and not Jewish. The fact is that Jews have never invaded or occupied another peoples' land in all their 4000 year history - which I invite you to admit.
