Pipes is 100% correct in calling this one for what it is. Until we see one side completely letting go of the intent to destroy the other, there can be no progress. The Palestinians' policy to this day is to demonize Israel and poison the minds of the next generation with irrational hatred of Israelis and especially Jews. As abuse tends to run through generations, I would say that, were the Palestinians TODAY to stop defining themselves through hatred of their neighbors, were they to begin the long process of excising this hatred from their collective character, it will take at least a couple of generations. Try 50 years minimum.
