Since when do countries have religions? Religion/belief is something individual, countries should have nothing to do with it. But then, yes, Turkey is turning into an islamic country: individuals who want to break away from islam are in great danger in Turkey. Individual religious freedom, in particular the freedom to leave islam and speak openly about why you left it, was lost a long time ago in Turkey.
