The Khaliphate arises again

Reader comment on item: Ambitious Turkey

Submitted by yuval (Israel), Apr 12, 2011 at 08:54

Between 80 million strong Egypt under Islamic Brotherhood leadership and 60 million strong Turkey led by the resurgent Ottomans Israel is really going to be squeezed. Add to that a bellicose Obama-Petreus-Powers and we have a making of a really good stew.

Israel is about to be shoved into the corner, not for the first time, which bodes ill for the Arabs, who will bear the brunt of Jewish explosive ire. This time there will be no mister nice guy. This time it will be the repatriation of Arabs to their homelands, or Europe. Europe better be on the side of the Jews, otherwise it will have to take care of all those displaced Arabs.
