what it requires and what defeat looks like

Reading through a lot of commets from fellow readers I state what victory requires on part of the supporters of Israel: It requires the will to win. What victory looks like for the defeated I can tell you. My grandmother had to leave an industrial city during the last days of WW2 in Germany for the city was bombed. She was pregnant with my father, walking over 100km to find a place that had sufficient food still and no air-attacks. In addition to my grandfather my grandmother felt defeated, even my father was defeated before he was even born. Never have I heard from my grandfather that he would ever even think about fighting again. Instead everybody was happy the war was finally over. And for my generation I grew up drinking beer and learning the language from British soldiers.
