I find it interesting that this conviction hasn't been a headline story in the U.S. national news media.

I'd like to think this verdict tells us something about the Ft. Hood murderer and subsequent media coverage. The U.S. national news media seemed rather sympathetic to the Ft. Hood murderer's "mental anguish" in the immediate aftermath of that attack. With the conviction of Naveed Haq, the silence is rather deafening. Don't you think?
