Although God has not rescinded His covenant with Israel, the Jews can not expect to be treated with silk gloves. The rise of antisemitism doesn't bode well for the Children of Israel. Isaiah and Paul knew it. What made Isaiah cry out is amply demonstrated on the pages of the Old Testament.

Romans 9:27 (NIVUK)
27. Isaiah cries out concerning Israel:
Though the number of the Israelites be like the sand by the sea, only the remnant will be saved.
