What I fear
Reader comment on item: Christians Disappearing From Iraq

Submitted by Babs (United States), Aug 25, 2004 at 14:38

Is there any possibility of the Christian Iraqis turning around and blaming the United States for the attacks? Some might say it was "calm" when Saddam Hussein was in charge and none of this Christianphobia happened until he was ousted. I fear this, because it only serves to empower our enemies (many of which are in the Democratic party), who will attack President Bush. But, then again, I guess the enemies of our president (& country) don't really need a reason to attack him. What a sad world we live in.
