Lack of leadershipReader comment on item: Christians Disappearing From Iraq Submitted by cornsyrup (United States), Aug 10, 2009 at 23:45 A big part of the problem is there has been real lack of leadership coming from the large Christian churches in the west. The Vatican has almost silent . Not to mention western Christians have become lazy and apathetic towards the defense of their fellow Christians. What do think would happen if the next time Coptic Christians are attacked by Egyptian Muslims here in American a couple of 1000 Christians stormed and burned down the Egyptian embassy ? I'm thinking that the Christians in Egypt would be left alone for a while or at least get government protection.
