Dear Daniel Pipes,

Greetings, I was reading on the website, The comments you made about me, was not correct and pleasant.

Let me explain to you sir, the lady who wrote about me in the news paper, she did not put the right information. I hope that you know how the media twist things. She wrote that wrong information about me that I was saying something wrong about Jihad. This is the definition I gave it in my presentation in CA.

• According to the Dictionary of Islam: "Jihad: An effort, or a striving." A religious war with those who are unbelievers in the mission of Mohammed. It is an incumbent religious duty, established in the Qur'an and in the traditions as a divine institution, and enjoined specially for the purpose of advancing Islam and of repelling evil from Muslims. When an infidel's country is conquered by a Muslim ruler, its inhabitants are offered three alternatives.

• 1) The reception of Islam, in which case the conquered become enfranchised citizens of the Muslim states.(2) The payment of a poll-tax (Jizyay), by which unbelievers in Islam obtain protection, and became second class citizens, provided they are not the idolaters of Arabia.(3) Death by the sword, to those who will not pay the poll tax.

[1] Dictionary of Islam. T. P. Hughes. Lahore: The Book House Publishers and Booksellers Trust Bldg., Urdu Bazar, Post Box 734 Lahore-2, Pakistan. N. d., Pp 243-8.

We also find this definition Surah 9:29.

My teachers have told me that I should be very careful when I make any comments about anything or a person. If I do not have the perfect knowledge, I will not say that thing otherwise I will look like a fool.

I hope you understand that media is always pro.Islam.

Blessings to you.

Masih
