Palestinians have benefited from the Jewish community in Israel since the 19th centuryReader comment on item: Palestinians Who Helped Create Israel Submitted by Shawn Cohen (United States), Mar 26, 2009 at 13:14 Thanks for this post! This research is not surprising--it's well documented that the Arab population was miniscule in Israel until Jews began to settle there in the late 1800s. It's exciting to see evidence that Palestinians have acknowledged that they can prosper and have prospered from Jewish industry and commerce. They've been doing so, but have been almost categorically unwilling to admit it, for a century and a half in these modern times.
