Thanks for this post. It further reiterates the reality that many people groups do well when they are given cash for doing absolutely nothing. In a way, it seems like the influx of wealth to Dubai was an economic dole to Emiratis but didn't really teach them how to build wealth for the long term. Foreigners gave the UAE the proverbial fish while keeping the Emiratis in ignorance. New faces to the same old Arab/Muslim story.
