Taking the time to readReader comment on item: The Deceits of Bridges TV Submitted by jennifer solis (United States), Feb 26, 2009 at 16:37 Daniel Pipes is a rare gem. The thoroughness he employs regarding Bridges TV (and now the murder of Aasia Z. Hassan) is but one example of his gift to all of us - devotion to truth, integrity, the laying out of dozens, even hundreds of facts so that we become educated, and can form educated opinions. If one takes the time to read the links Dr. Pipes provides to his other articles, one sees his words backed up exponentialy - for example, the link "Were investors at 'Bridges TV' Misled?". A TV channel, devoted to Islamism, HERE IN AMERICA - "Throughout the day, Bridges TV airs segments of Koranic verses, quite a few of which denounce "unbelievers'. One noteable verse that aired October 9 [2006] praised martyrdom...Since the Islamic holy month of Ramadan began, the channel has been showing official, Saudi government-controlled Wahhabi sermons from Mecca's holiest mosque, Al-Harem. The sermons stream live via Saudi TV Channel one every day at 4 p.m., and Bridges TV adds its own English subtitles. An antiJewish, anti-Christian sermon from October 5 included the call, 'May God Destroy them!'..." http://www.danielpipes.org/blog/2004/11/were-investors-in-bridges-tv-misled.html Bridges TV's politcal slant is Muslims suffer from bias and are victumized in the U.S. Daniel Pipes completely obliterates that fairy-tale in his article, "Are Muslim Americans Victumized?" http://www.danielpipes.org/358/are-muslim-americans-victimized In a world full of MSM and demagogue politicians who lie through their teeth, words cannot express my gratitude for your devotion and meticulous adherence to truth, Dr. Pipes.
