Why is this the preferred way to kill someone, by followers of Mohammed ?

Is this any prescribed way ?

Is this the Halaal way to kill and drain the blood ?

Did Mohammed behead anyone with his own hands ? are his followers trying to mimic him ?

Is it the reason, to deny entry to paradise ?

or if someone is beheaded they can only go to hell ?

Beheading is not exclusive to arabs or mohammedans,, but why is it the preferred way to kill someone ?
are there any islamic rules or preference ?
