Sharia ideologyReader comment on item: The Deceits of Bridges TV Submitted by Amith Parsotam (United Kingdom), Mar 11, 2009 at 06:11 "The only solution is to eliminate the shari3a ideology to save the world. Even the Qur2an assert that the imams shari3a should be eliminated" Could you tell me where in the Qur'an does it say this? I have been trying to find a verse that states this. Many laws of the UK and U.S.A have been derived from Sharia, Which is and for many years has been the only law with out any contradictions. Sharia has certain laws which are regarded as divinely ordained, concrete and timeless for all relevant situations. A number of important legal concepts and institutions were developed by Islamic jurists during the classical period of Islam, known as the Islamic Golden Age, dated from the 7th to 13th centuries. Its seems a shame to do away with such laws. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes. Original writing only, please.
