The Fact that Dr. Pipes has the knowledge, which is to say the educational and experiential background, and the guts to both blow the whistle on bureaucratic inertia (read incompetence) and to single out known terrorist sympathizers for scrutiny in the harsh light of public opinon is a blessing we all should carefully consider. It has to be as true today as it was in the early days of WWII that "loose lips sink ships", and while there isn't much sinking going on - there's a lot of ... irresponsible behavior that needs reigning in.
