Did not read the book.Reader comment on item: How Europe's Counterterrorism Laws Differ from America's Submitted by Ynnatchkah (United States), Jul 4, 2008 at 01:39 Again, I did not read the book, however, when reading some (positive) reviews about the book on Amazon, com, a person posts the following: "...He proposes a US pullout from Iraq, and Israeli-Palestinian peace (keep dreaming!) as a way to de-escalate the tension between the jihadist and the US. "... Well, Sangeman is a psychiatrist who sees Jihadist as lunatics? Looks like Jihadists in this context are not the only lunatics.... Definitely, if the US leaves Iraq, not only Jihadists will have a better ground to train, but also, by implementing victimhood in the population, who is dumb, they will recruit even more. And a peace Israel Palestinians will de-escalate the tension? Had the man studied history ever? <>:I guess he must carry not the same political insanity as McDermott, but for sure makes us think if he is not another incompetent therapist like McDermott. True: McDermott in my opinion is a Mengele Pshychiatrist, so Sageman is still better. Note: Opinions expressed in comments are those of the authors alone and not necessarily those of Daniel Pipes.
