Although I didn't hear the interview (plugins issue on my work PC), the lauding of Galloway by Mutairy tells me plenty--as it is akin to a reply to a Letter To Editor I wrote to Chicago Tribune in 1993, which mentioned the foolishness of Rajiv Gandhi (BTW, this was not the main subject of the letter) on the Shah Bano case (the result of which Muslims have since been allowed to function by a separate code than the rest of India).

The reply, by a Muslim, lauded Gandhi--India's third-worst PM with term exceeding 1 year--as the best PM.

(The other two spots were filled by Nehru (Rajiv's grandpa) and Morarji Desai)
