Again, don't omit Canada Jim

I noticed you did not include Canada on your list. But it too has had a set of corrupt leaders (actually, four-in-a-row at least***).

Sample milestones in decline:

• 1962: US outlaws prayer and scripture reading in public schools; Canadian public schools (at least in Alberta) still allow these (and hymn-singing) at least till 1975
• 1980: Pierre Elliott Trudeau, newly re-elected as PM, orders a customised licence plate with "666" tag--to show his arrogance against religion (though he still claims to be Catholic)
• 1987: All abortion laws in Canada are struck down without replacement in Parliament--significantly, at least 40% of MP's (including PM) then were Catholic
• 1995: Calgary Catholic School Board decides to add "non-religious education option" to curriculum--eh, wasn't this already available by default through Public School Board?
• 1996-present: CRTC puts regulations on religious broadcasters with lots of PC guidelines (cannot name homosexuality, paederasty, bestiality, ... as sins for Canadian broadcast on media--edit out if your broadcast includes this; internet broadcasts still accessible without editing)--Canada now is a country with LESS religious freedom than its southern neighbour.

Recent WND story of a pastor being told by Provincial Government to "renounce faith"; the story is from Alberta (which drew notice by blocking implementation of homosexual "marriages" in 2003 using "Notwithstanding clause"--though this was pre-existing position of Alberta government)
