So does the uniform of a police officer constitute her merits, strength, and loyalty? The fact is, yes, this is a secular nation, but that does not mean that everything has to be based on secularism. A mere exception of uniform does not make one veer from being fair to other religions.

Secularism is only promoted in America so that religion will not be enforced upon anyone. By wearing the hijab, she is not violating any type of equality. Police officers have the talent and interest to save lives, to risk their lives for the greater good. That is why they choose their jobs....Regardless of what religion they are and how they dress. She may be a better police officer than some dressed secularly.
