The headline read "PA cops, part of US-trained force, murdered Israeli father" . And that was just what Abbas' Fatah goons did on the day before the conference.
This has been going on for so very long now, well over the 6 seemingly interminable years I've been following it. And with each passing year it gets worse.
There can be no peace with psychotic killers, and it is the responsibility of Rice and Bush to know that. And no, Bush doesn't have any obligation to solve Israel's problems. Israel has the responsibility to take care of itself, even if the Israeli government just isn't up to the task.
Furthermore, he does have a responsibility to America, and support for the worst terrorists in the world by enabling their evil, is a profound abandonment of America's interests by nurturing the "Palestinian" monster - which gives aid and encouragement to all our enemies.
He also has the responsibility of any leader not to harm a friend.
He is making a legacy for himself, but it's one that will forever mark him, and possibly as the last president of what America could have been.
Wise men have dissappeared, and wisdom has vanished - not from many ordinary people (at least, not yet, anyway), but the "leadership" is leaderless, and so they make it up as they go along, led by "friends" (the Saudis) who could care less how it will harm us to do their bidding. I guarantee, the Saudis and the "Palestinians" WILL betray us even more than they already have.
The book of Ovadia the Prophet is short. Maybe if Bush read it he might reconsider his folly?
Oh, and we should add the Orthodox Union (the OU) to that list of those who point out Mr. Bush's glaring error
