This past Summer, I visited Israel for the first time, and was fascinated by it, although was only there for a few days. On my last full day there, my taxi driver, who happened to be an Arab Israeli, took me to Bethlehem, where I was shown the sights by a guide. I thoroughly enjoyed that little town, but got roped into buying a very expensive souvenir from a tourist shop. I wanted to pay cash for my find, but couldn't remember the pin number for my debit card, and had to use a credit card.
After I returned home, I looked at the receipt and to my surprise, it said "Thank you for using the Bank of Palestine." Obviously Palestinians think they have a country, but it's a shame that they can't understand why Israel has a right to exist.
