In the Middle east, Kurds are the gourth largest ethnic group after Arabs, Iranians and Turks. They are spread over Iraq, Turkey, Syria , Iran and other countries. It is a measure of utter incapacity of political islam to give a meaure of political space and national identity to Kurds who have been Muslims for the last 1200 years
