Turkey's Amassing Troops - Possibly SupportiveReader comment on item: [Mosul and] Iraq's Next War Submitted by IBK (United States), Nov 1, 2007 at 20:58 If Turkish forces limit their efforts to quelling or fighting PKK, - not 'taking back' this piece of territory that they might see as historically/rightfully theirs - then this amassing of force could be, and be seen as, joining forces with US and Iraq in a joint effort to help stabilize Iraq and it's fledgling government.
