WHAT PRECISELY ARE WE WAITING FOR?

Future historians will no doubt wonder why it took the West so long to appreciate the lethal threat posed by 21st Century Islam. In 1941 it took just one morning of aggression in Pearl Harbor to rouse us to action.

As of late 2007, almost the entire world has sustained some form of severe Islamic assault. But still we in the West hesitate to protect ourselves. As Hitler laid out his plan of genocide in Mein Kampf, so to, the Islamists have their blueprint in the pages of the Koran. Only now instead of one Hitler, we face many. And this time it is not just the Jews who will die. But the Christians and everyone else unwilling to submit to Sharia law.

But still we hesitate. We musn't offend the moderate Muslims After all, only a small percentage of Muslims wish to destroy us. Certainly no more than 15% or 20%. It would be politically incorrect to subject all Muslims to greater scrutiny or to segregate ourselves from them. Unfortunately, we seem unable to comprehend that moderate Islam has not, cannot, and will not intervene to stop the madness being unleashed by their coreligionists in the name of Allah. So instead, we hem and we haw and we hesitate.

Now they are building Muslim/Arabic schools in Brooklyn. Millions of Muslims around the world chant Death To America. Millions more await the day when the law of 12th Century Islam is implemented in the United States. In Palestine, a Mickey the Mouse look a like is stabbed to death on children's TV all in the service of Islamic propoganda. Throughout the Muslim world, five year old children are brainwashed into yearning for glorious death as terrorist "martyrs".

But still we defend Islam as a worthy religion, equal in respect to that of Christianity, Judaism and Buddhism. Are we blind? Or just stupid? France, Britain, and Germany have major cities where a non-Muslim dare not walk through Muslim neighborhoods. A rabbi stabbed in Frankfurt. Jews throughout Europe are assaulted by Muslims almost on a daily basis.

Soon, all too soon, Iran will have a nuclear weapon. Does anyone doubt either the purpose or the recipient of this weapon. But here we sit, watching and waiting. Just like the goose watches and waits as the farmer sharpens his knives. So what is the harm of an Arabic school in Brooklyn? Or yet another madrasah in Britain? All religions are equal. All contain elements of beauty and truth. So goes the argument. And while we agonize over such idiotic hand wringing, the sword of Muhammad edges ever closer to our politically correct jugular.
