Thank you, Mr. Abu Nuwas, for your extremely plain and articulate explanation of the subjects and questions posed to you by me and others. What you have said makes so much sense, and is one of the best editorials(!) I have read so far on the delicate Islamic issues of our days.

Although now enlightened by your insights, I am also a little sad about your comment about the demise of Islamic civilisation. How depressing for Arabs the world over; however, perhaps a new civilisation will emerge someday without the threat of Islamism attached to it.
