When I think of 32,000 people sitting passively and with tacit approval during the young Islamic arch-twit's speech, it reminds me of those radical chic buffoons that were skewered by Tom Wolfe in the sixties. The soft-headed leftist understanding is that the way to mollify Radical Evil is to pat its scaly back and agree whole-heartedly that it is "not anything that should make someone feel uncomfortable", indeed, that it's seeming fearsomeness is merely a formidable righteousness.

Zayed Yasin is a beneficiary of the kind of perverse need-to-flagellate that would cause those afflicted with terminal misopatriasis to adopt a neophyte apologist for terror as their benignly grinning household god, to timidly pat its ass as it wanders off looking really cute in it's graduation gown.
