Growing problem? Haven't they always been anti Christian-as well as anti Jewish? Islam hasn't changed much in the 1400 years of it's existence. What we're witnessing world wide isn't a new super militant form of Islam-just traditional Islam shaking off the last 100 or so years of being fairly latent.

Let's not forget that as recently as 1915 Islamist Turks murdered 1,000,000 Armenian Christians for daring to challenge their dhimmi status in the crumbling Ottoman Empire. Islamic umma has a long memory. So should we.
