You got it all wrong AliyahReader comment on item: Islamist Advice to Jews Submitted by George Walters (United States), Feb 15, 2009 at 07:13 Aliyah, While I am happy that you asked a question, I am afraid you got it all wrong. You said that you did not know why people have such hatred for a religion as peace loving as Islam ..there are horrible people of all religions. I will attempt an answer. People are not afraid of Islam due to its horrble people (we know that there are crazies in all religions). The truth of the matter is that people are scared of Islam due to its moderates. Yes, people are scared of Islam due to its moderates. You see, we have hardly ever seen a muslim converting to another religion out of love (conversion in the context of marriage is always a one way street with the non-muslim partner converting to Islam). While the rest-of-the-world (ROTW) can share a red-cross, you guys need a red-crescent of your own. While the ROTW can share a single UNO, you guys need an organization of Islamic Countries. While we can find mutual funds of our choice from among million of available mutual funds, you guys need your own Islamic mutual funds. We also notice that you guys have a very deep political agenda intertwined with a religious agenda. You see, when Islam comes to America, a nation of Islam is automatically born. And, we are also very worried about your unity in Islamic cause. You see, president Clinton sent US soldiers to save Bosnian muslims. When Afghanistan was occupied by Russian Christian soldiers, US Christian soldiers stood up to fight again Russian Christians. We do not see too many such examples in the Muslim world. When Daniel Pearl (may his soul rest in peace and his family get courage) was being killed, all we got was some lip service from the Muslims around the world. When jews are killed in Israel and Hindus in Kashmir, we do not get even lip service from moderates. So you see, Aliyah, we are not so concerned about the horrible people in Islam. We are concerned about the moderates who choose to remain silent. You sound like a very sincere person. I am surprized that you cannot see the difference between Islamic and non-Islamic worlds.
