I hope there doesn't become a need for High School and Grammar School Campus Watch!

Reader comment on item: A Madrasa Grows in Brooklyn

Submitted by larry (United States), Apr 24, 2007 at 22:13

It's really unbelievable, surreal. Would any non-believer in the global jihad think this is a good idea? This will set a terrible precedent. It seems like this step toward jihad in NYC will potentially be replicated thoughout the country. Is this already occuring in Michigan or San Francisco or for that matter, in Europe?

It also doesn't make any sense since many Cathloics might want a Catholic centric view taught in the public schools, but instead have to go to Catholic school for that, Jews that want to learn Hebrew and jewish culture go to private school. So this move seems to discriminate against other religions at the very least and at worst it increases the risk of violence which clearly goes hand in hand with a madrassa like curriculum. Even a madrassa-lite curriculum I'd suspect would correlate with violence.
