IGNORANCE IS THE CAUSE OF SO MUCH HATRED IN THE WORLD

Reader comment on item: James Baker's Terrible Iraq Report
in response to reader comment: The west is the problem

Submitted by GERARDO LARREA FRENCH (Puerto Rico), Dec 22, 2006 at 00:52

My friend unfortunately I must tell you that you are completely mistaken in thinking that the West is the cause of the misery and problems that moslems face. Unfortunately the government of many Arab countries are to blame for the misery and the unequal distribution of wealth amongst their own people.

Ignorance is a also a contributing factor of the hate that is felt towards United States and towards the West. I do agree, that United States has made many mistakes in the way it has handled foreign policy, but the US and the West cannot be blamed for all the problems that Arab countries are experiencing and the living conditions that the people from does countries face on a daily basis.

The future of moslems and Arab Countries depends on their own people and on the roads chosen by their governments and not the West.

My friend do not let yourself be fooled by hate, ignorance and half truths.
