Bunch of Know-Nothing clowns on center stage?

Reader comment on item: James Baker's Terrible Iraq Report

Submitted by Jaladhi (United States), Dec 12, 2006 at 09:28

You write: "Besides the astonishing conceit of these Olympian declarations, one wonders how exactly the Iraqi civil war would be ended by pleasing the Palestinian Arabs. Or why the unresolved Arab-Israeli conflict is any more relevant to Iraq than the unresolved Azeri-Armenian conflict, which is closer to Iraq."

This says it all about this group and their recommendations.

How the Iraq war is related to Palestine problem, or for that matter any conflict anywhere in the world is beyond anybody's comprehension!!! That these bunch of morons feel qualified to give advice on how to end Iraq war is utterly ridiculous. Your description of know-nothing diplomacy is an apt description. These guys could not direct their way out of a brown bag, let alone the mess in Iraq.

Did I hear it right? some of the members may be on Saudi Arabian pay-roll as their consultants/advisors, or this is just another rumour??
