Reader comment on item: A Madrassah in Bridgeview, Illinois
in response to reader comment: Universal School- serious clash of cultures

After reading your article on Universal School, I can not disagree with you more. I am a graduate of that institution, and have gone on to graduate college at Depaul University. I think it is appalling to hear some of your comments on the way they conduct their interaction between boys and girls. Pre-marital sex is against Islam and in fact against all of the major religions of the world. The reason for the sheltering of the students isn't to limit there interaction between genders, it is to make it easier upon them to stay away from something that is preached religiously.

To hear some comments by people who have read the article I was shocked to here some people question if these students would do anything with there lives. By the will of God, and working very hard I seem to be FINE and now have a salary that is great. I think all of the other businessmen, doctors, lawyers that have graduated from this great institution can say the same.
