The United Kingdom and Muslims

Reader comment on item: Paul Goodman, MP, Analyses Radical Islam
in response to reader comment: Surprised Pipes has no complaints about Goodman's distinction between Islamism and Islam

In my opinion, the United Kingdom has been too tolerant with Muslims in general. This has lead to an appeasement of Militant Islam. But, it is not just about Militant Islam and Islamism.

The problem is that the United Kingdom has adopted some extreme multicultural policies. A British Muslim, Raheel, in a different post, insulted me for stating the obvious: the United Kingdom is far too open-minded. That includes all Muslims, whatever their ideology, but also other religious and cultural groups.

Tolerance of Militant Islam, and Londonistan, is just a consequence of a broader lasseiz-faire attitude towards Muslims, and minorities in general. As for Raheel, go back to the post "Londonistan Follies", read his last post, and tell me if that individual does not have a chip on his shoulder.
