Remember where Centanni Was

Reader comment on item: The Fatal Stabbing of Angelo Frammartino, Palestinian Apologist
in response to reader comment: Angelo Murder and FOX Journalist Statement

Submitted by Pat (United States), Aug 29, 2006 at 14:14

Although I was taken aback by that statement, I had to cut Steve Centanni a little slack, given where he was when he said it. The full story could not yet be told. He's a political reporter normally based in Washington. Wait and see what he says when safely in the US. What will happen if he renounces Islam? Can he ever again report from Palestine without becoming a target for those who see him as a heretic?

Daniel Pipes replies:

He immediately renounced his conversion as forced, so that is not an issue. Whether or not he goes back to Gaza remains to be seen.
