Gaza invasion

I don't think that Alex has it right that Israel is "allowing events to dictate policy". And Hamas doesn't either: they say that Gaza incursion was a premeditated plan and the the kidnapping of Gilad Shalit is only a pretext. Let´s hope that they are correct about this, that the Israeli plan is to destroy Hamas and the PA.
