Slippery Rock University: Still a party school?

I graduated from Grove City College in 1994 with a BSEE degree. SRU was around 8 miles south of where I was.

It had quite a reputation among GCC students and faculty members for being a wild party school. GCC, on the other hand, was the exact opposite of SRU in many respects. I will always have fond memories of my years at GCC.

It comes to me as no surprise that the faculty members at SRU (with a few notable exceptions, one of whom is a fellow alumnus and good friend of mine) behave the way they do as described in the article here, judging from the behavior of the student body in general over there.
