Reader comment on item: Why Hamas['s Electoral Victory] Leaves Me Neutral

Submitted by Dan Rusen (Canada), Jan 31, 2006 at 21:45

Dr. Pipes,

Now for the first time as Steven Plaut says, Israel will have to wake up and smell the Arabicas. The good news is that now Israel faces a hostile and warmongering STATE. I would think then that in theory at least the very first time a documented salvo of Katyushas hits Israel, she can declare war and righteously blow the enemy to smithereens, instead of merely trying to pick off a few of its leaders.
