At all, the speed of the German advance was in their view a kind of miracle, for example the pioneers of a cafe in Nazareth were listening to the news from Cairo radio, and during the short pause one of those present shouted that the broadcaster had gone to the window in the studio to see if Hitler had entered Cairo or not. This indicates the extent of fascination and admiration for Hitler and his armies. Ahmad Al-Shugairi mentions that the Arabs of Palestine were:

"Their emotions and calls are directed to the axis, headed by Hitler leading them from victory to victory," in 1941.. Posters were hung on the walls of Hebron, anti-British and supportive of Hitler.


على الإطلاق ، فسرعة التقدم الألماني كانت في نظرهم نوعا من الإعجاز ، فمثلا كان رواد مقهى في الناصرة يستمعون إلى الأخبار من إذاعة القاهرة ، وفي خلال فترة التوقف القصيرة صاح أحد الحاضرين بأن المذيع ذهب إلى النافذة في الأستوديو ليرى إن كان هتلر قد دخل القاهرة أم لا ، وهذا يدل على مدى الانبهار والإعجاب بهتلر (Hitler) وجيوشه فأحمد الشقيري يذكر أن عرب فلسطين كانت :

(عواطفهم ودعواتهم موجهة للمحور وعلى رأسها هتلر (Hitler) يقودهم من نصر إلى نصري عام 1941 م / 1360 ه ، تم تعليق ملصقات على جدران مدينة الخليل ، معادية لبريطانيا ، ومؤيدة لهتل..
