Regional Dynamics Under Radical Change After Afghanistan

Reader comment on item: The Key Issue of Hamas vs. Israel
in response to reader comment: Media and the Islamic ideologs warming up to Israel? I doubt it.

The once heavily promoted 'Two State Solution' from decades ago appeared, at least for a short duration, a dead topic. Not any more, apparently as the current 46th American Administration pulls away from Afghanistan in tattered disarray and evidently trying to regain some bona fides, revives the idea with still-enemy states like the 'Palestinian' authority with a now reinvigorated Hamas, and potentially, Hizbollah to the north.
The recent confab with Abdullah, al Sissi and PA Leader Abbas indicates that the discussion must revive the 'two state' argument of there will be more of the same of border infractions to downright internal distress that will lead to the next intifada. This will likely involve more strife on the Temple Mount, already contentious, but more so now that the American influences are no longer centered on protecting Israeli sovereignty.
Make no mistake, this is what is at stake now.
