Peace is a State of Mind - It is not Religiously Determined

Reader comment on item: "Islam" Does Not Mean "Peace"
in response to reader comment: Islam is a Religion of Peace...

Let the record show, peace cannot ever be achieved by negotiations between opposite sides of the conflict; even in hudna. This is especially true when considering that Dar al-Islam has never achieved peace; ever. Were that true, then there would be no difference between Sunni and Shi'a, which has been debated variously in this forum and in the realms of religious antipathies for centuries as incompatible, let alone any prejudiced reasoning amongst the other religious pursuits that were quashed. Why?
It is because peace requires obeisance to a higher power than even Islam impiously attempts to make claim to in this human realm. The devolution of religion in its attempts to search out peace for humanity will ultimately fall into the trap of mystery Babylon in its failure to align humanity in false religious hopes.
