Seriously? Are you saying that liberalism led to communism and fascism as in cause and effect? Sobhanallah!

Based on your own definition if conservatism had always won since 1600s, we would still be living under autocrat monarchies and religious intolerance of the Catholic church.

The Catholic Church? Seriously? So Henri Pirenne must be a liar. As a matter of fact he believed that the Arab invasions and the rise of Islam in the 7th century dragged Europe in the Dark ages and the Middle Ages. It was not the Germanic invasions or Christianity.

As a matter of fact it was Christians and Jews that translated the Greek Learning not just in the east but also in the west.

Without Nestorians in Baghdad and Jews and Christian Monks in Spain as well as literary treasures in Constantinople the works of the ancients would have been lost. Even in distant monasteries the likes of Nag Hammadi Christians were reading not only their holy books but also the works of the Greeks

Even the so called Islamic civilization it would not have been possible without the Persians/Zoroastrians

Muslims? They loved to burn books. Othman burned copies of the Qur'an and Omar ordered the burning of the books in Alexandria and Ctesiphon
