Sometimes; Praying IS the Doing.....

But you, O LORD, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations.
Why do you forget us forever,
why do you forsake us for so many days?
Restore us to yourself, O LORD, that we may be restored!
Renew our days as of old— .......(Lamentations 5:19-21).
Has anyone lately wondered why it is taking so long for Israel to attain again the former relationship she once had with Adonai?
The Temple was destroyed twice for a very personal reason: the LORD declares the backsliding as HIs main reason; that their protection was removed and they were left on their own to defend themselves and only recently in modern times is the diaspora permitted, nay, recalled by HIs WORD to embrace aliyah. If there was any sense that they could do anything independent of the WORD of the LORD, would they not already have accomplished it.
The Word of the LORD declares HIs love for the Jewish people like no other people (yes, not even the Americans); yet until they perform the response to His love He speaks of, say, in Zechariah, do we see the enactment of HIs promises for these end of days of this age.

Incline your ear, and come to Me;
hear, that your soul may live;
and I will make with you an everlasting covenant,
My steadfast, sure love for David. (Isaiah 55:3)
