Tommy Robinson presumed alive until proven dead

in response to reader comment: Tommy Robinson

Universalgeni , I signed the petition half an hour ago. Melanie's arguments are valid but very selective.

The initial court order fabricated a trap for Tommy to begin with. Melanie understands that trap to be dug with the shovels of the rule-of-law. The way I see it the trap was dug with bare hands that were dirty at the start and remain dirty. The information Tommy gave was public. His position obviously must coincide with that of the prosecution. His legal counsel may have been appropriate to counter a parking offense but no more.

What good is the argument "presumption of innocence" (quote Melanie) when I understand another, very insidious assumption by the court: Tommy Robinson is presumed alive until proven dead. His incarceration comes close to a death warrant inside prison.

It is quite possible that the defendants in the rape case end up in the very prison that Tommy is in now. It is quite possible that Tommy may die at the hands of those people. The prisons hold plenty of people that would execute the death warrant.

I am disappointed to see Melanie come out on the death-side of the dispute. On behalf of Tommy's family, whom I do not know, I thank Daniel Pipes for defending Tommy's right to live.
