To myth:

Not only Putin, Sergey Lavrov - Russia's Foreign Minister - speaks Singhalese and Vitaly Churkin - Russia's Permanent Representative to the UN - speaks Mongolian. This is yet another example of the differences in language training between the US and Russia (s. my previous comments).
